How to care for this plant

Water

In borders and in pots it is important to water sufficiently after planting. Depending on the weather, give water 1-3 times a week. After the plant has grown roots, it only needs water if it is extremely dry. They do not like wet feet, make sure the soil is permeable or that excess water can flow away.

Location

Place this Helleborus in the half-shadow/sun. By sufficient sunlight, the marbling on the leaves will get more contrast and the plant will produce more flowers. In contrast to other Helleborus Winter Angels, this variety can be placed in full sun.

Fertilisation

Make sure the soil is rich in nutrients and fertilise the soil twice a year. Do this with an organic long-lasting fertiliser, the first time in early spring and the second time in September. If the plant is in a pot, fertilise once a month.
